WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue volleyball redshirt sophomore Rachel Davis has been named the Big Ten Conference's Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts against Iowa and number-two Nebraska last week.

Against Iowa, Davis scooped up a career-high 21 digs while rounding out her 10th double-double of the season with 51 assists and four blocks.

Against the second-ranked Cornhuskers, Davis guided the 10th-ranked Boilermakers to a season-best .410 hitting effort. The Boilers knocked off the Huskers in three games Saturday to improve to 13-3 in Big Ten play and 24-3 overall.

The Boilermakers finish the regular season with road contests against Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
